AllOver.Pictures by VOID Software, introduces an entirely new approach to the challenges of discovering, collecting and retrieving media assets in the digital age. The underlying concept is based on the synergies stemming from the two interacting roles in the media-gathering process: the Media Consumers and the Media Producers. By leveraging the power of crowdsourcing and the current ubiquitous availability of digital cameras, the former can launch geolocated requests for specific media to be acquired, and have the latter be notified in real-time, effectively connecting supply and demand at the right place, right time and right price. On the other hand, producers are provided with a marketplace where they are able to promote their work, either by participating in on-going requests, or by creating their own ad-hoc offers. By installing this app, you can signup as a Media Producer and get notifications about offers around you. You can then chose to upload photos that are relevant to the offer, and if they are selected for use, you can immediately be paid for them. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
